What's new in Devin University

Changes to Devin University that learners should know about: new lessons, updated knowledge checks, certification requirements, and platform features.

2026-10-16

Devin Certified now also requires passing the Devin Certified Exam, a 20-question exam that unlocks after the required courses. Until then, the exam button says to finish the prerequisites. Existing holders keep their certification.

You pass with 80% (16 of 20). After a failed attempt you can retry right away the first time, then wait 24 hours after the second fail and 48 hours after each fail after that. Results show your score and the courses to review, not which answers were wrong. Once you pass you can retake the exam any time, with no wait, and a later fail does not remove your certification.

If you leave before finishing, your answers are saved. The certification page shows how many questions you have answered and a Resume attempt button that takes you back to your next question.

The exam is available in all nine University languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Italian, French, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Cloud 102: Knowledge is deprecated. The course is rewritten around Rules, Skills, and Plugins as the recommended way to manage context, with a new sandbox and an updated knowledge check.
